Job Summary

Shree Mahakali Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient food service procedures to meet work schedules and ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Requisition and manage food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are available.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales data and customer feedback.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that all shifts are covered and that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate are required.
  • Criminal record check is a condition of employment.
  • Public transportation is available for staff who require it.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding work setting.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Client focus and team player attitude are required.
  • Work Term: Permanent and Work Language: English are required.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week are available.
