About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MONTANAS BBQ and BAR. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food preparation and service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our restaurant is fully staffed during peak periods.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at MONTANAS BBQ and BAR, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet our high standards.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in our restaurant, and proficiency in English is required.
