We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant, seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory and Scheduling
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Establish work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, facilitating informed business decisions.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but relevant experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is essential.
  • Work Environment
    • Staff accommodation available for our team members.
    • Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere, tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

    • Efficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
