IT Project Manager

We are in search of a proficient and driven IT Project Manager to oversee critical technology initiatives within our organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing diverse technology projects and ensuring their successful execution. Your key responsibilities will encompass acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating the tech team's adaptation to the Scrum methodology, and providing comprehensive program management for our process optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scrum Master Role: Mentor and support the tech team in embracing and applying Scrum methodologies. Lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to Scrum practices while fostering continuous improvement within the team.
  • Transition to Scrum: Spearhead the shift of our tech team from conventional project management techniques to the Scrum framework. Collaborate with stakeholders to outline project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets. Track project advancement and guarantee the timely delivery of superior outcomes.
  • Program Management: Direct the execution of our process optimization program aimed at enhancing and automating business operations. Work alongside cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas for improvement and automation. Formulate and implement program strategies, including resource distribution, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Evaluate program effectiveness and ensure alignment with overarching strategic goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally within an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum principles and practices, with the capability to mentor teams in their implementation.
  • Experience in guiding teams through the transition from traditional project management to Agile/Scrum.
  • Proven expertise in program management, including planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and automation tools is a plus.
