Job Title: Project Coordinator Technology Services

Join the City of Toronto team as a Project Coordinator Technology Services and contribute to the delivery of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of technology projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop project charters, scope documents, and resource plans.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks, ensuring effective issue and risk management.
  • Supervise and coach project teams, providing guidance on project management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, project communications, and technical documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of technical solutions and professional services.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring compliance with City of Toronto financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in project coordination, with a focus on technology services projects.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience working in a shared project management environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Project management professional designation, such as CAPM or PMP, is an asset.
