Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Information Provision: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment

As a Front Desk Agent, you will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to stand for extended periods. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of attention to detail and providing excellent customer service in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and a team player.
