    • Encourage relationship building and knowledge exchange among educators, principals, Elders, Traditional Knowledge Keepers, public health professionals, youth, food providers, and other stakeholders in school communities nationwide.
    • Lead the development and execution of an Indigenous school food grant stream aimed at enhancing student access to healthy, culturally relevant foods while engaging them in practical activities that promote their understanding of food skills and Indigenous foodways.
    • Collaborate on the adaptation of the K-12 Food is Our Medicine learning journey, engaging with Nourish Leadership and other F2CC staff to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
    • Coordinate an in-person gathering to unite participants from diverse Indigenous school communities for knowledge sharing and storytelling related to Indigenous food and foodways.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of the initiative's Knowledge Mobilization Strategy and Evaluation Plan, ensuring appropriate protocols guide the work.
  • Communications and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Support school communities by addressing their needs and opportunities, documenting and sharing success stories through various platforms, and assisting with grant applications.
    • Enhance communication efforts by maximizing language accessibility and supporting Indigenous language revitalization initiatives.
    • Facilitate broader knowledge sharing regarding Indigenous food and foodways, including supporting the Indigenous School Food Circle.
  • Organizational Involvement and Project Management:
    • Contribute to F2CC's organizational approach, ensuring Indigenous values and perspectives are integrated into the national farm-to-school movement.
    • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the initiative's workplan and reporting to funders on project activities.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.
