Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Volunteer Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of our engineering-centric programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of engineering programs within our educational framework.
  • Collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, and team members to create and deliver high-quality engineering content and activities.
  • Ensure alignment of all engineering initiatives with educational standards and the overarching goals of our organization.
  • Organize and manage virtual workshops, projects, and competitions related to engineering, ensuring effective execution and high student engagement.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of engineering programs, gathering participant feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary liaison for students, parents, and educators involved in engineering initiatives, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all engineering programs, including curricula, instructional materials, and program evaluations.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in engineering education to enhance the quality and relevance of our offerings.
  • Promote participation in engineering programs through outreach efforts, including virtual presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Background in engineering, education, or a related field, with experience in program coordination or management.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, particularly in an educational context.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple programs and activities concurrently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
  • Ability to create and manage detailed plans and schedules, ensuring timely and within-scope program delivery.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments and online collaboration tools is advantageous.
