About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at 2434101 AB Inc. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring timely and efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Communication and Reception: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Office Administration: Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation and be able to travel as required.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, teamwork, accuracy, client focus, reliability, time management, adaptability, accountability, and dependability.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
