We are currently seeking casual Client Services Assistants (PSW) to become part of our esteemed Parkland Fredericton - Brunswick Hall team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meals.
- Facilitate social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residents.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas.
- Administer medications as directed by the Resident Services Coordinator/Manager, adhering to all medication management policies.
- Perform all duties in alignment with Shannex's Philosophy of Service: Your life. Your choice. Your Home.
- Communicate relevant information regarding resident care to the Supervisor.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who value continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid Personal Support Worker diploma, certificate, or equivalent (enrollment in a program is acceptable if not yet obtained).
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
- A clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
- Advanced proficiency in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Completion of an Alzheimer's and Dementia Care course is advantageous.
- Previous experience working with the elderly in long-term care or senior living environments is preferred.
- A genuine passion for the healthcare sector and commitment to providing quality care for seniors.
