About You / What We Are Looking For

The Recreation division is dedicated to delivering innovative recreational and cultural programs and services that promote healthy, active living tailored to our community's needs.

We are looking for candidates who possess outstanding customer service abilities, cash handling experience, and strong problem-solving skills, all of which are crucial for this role.

As a Client Services Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing admissions, membership sales, program registrations, and processing payments.

Expect to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for personal and professional development. Shifts may vary, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings, so flexibility in scheduling is essential. If you are eager to demonstrate your clerical expertise and excel in a public, customer-focused setting, we look forward to your application.

Minimum Qualifications
A solid understanding of front office operations, along with telephone etiquette, keyboarding/data entry skills, and computer proficiency, is required. Completion of Grade 12, including or supplemented by commercial, typing, and data entry courses, is necessary. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including cashiering, is required, preferably within a recreation department. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. Customer service experience is essential for this position.

This CUPE position offers an hourly wage range, plus 12% in lieu of benefits. Compensation is determined based on various factors, including qualifications, knowledge, experience, and skills.
