We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2717161 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and train our cooking staff on the latest methods and equipment.
  • Create new recipes and menus to keep our offerings fresh and exciting for our customers.
  • Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and cook high-quality food.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to operate efficiently.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit and hire staff to fill vacancies in the kitchen.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. They will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
