Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation
- Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients, managing inventory and minimizing waste.
- Culinary Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure menu items meet our high standards.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or concerns.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of menu planning and preparation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy loads.
