About the Opportunity

CIS Ontario is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our Middle School team on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Head, including calendar management, communication coordination, and newsletter preparation.
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Middle School students and families, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.
  • Support student activities and events, contributing to a vibrant and engaging school community.
  • Assist with daily student needs and monitor attendance records.
  • Collaborate with the broader school team to contribute to the internal calendar and ensure smooth operations.

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
