About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Canadian Consulting Engineers Inc. as an Operations Coordinator. This is a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Management

Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of company resources.

Policies and Procedures

Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a smooth and organized work environment.

Meeting and Event Planning

Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and arrange travel and related itineraries.

Office Administration

Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.

Recruitment and Training

Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, and manage training and development strategies for staff.

Support Services

Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

At least 7 months of experience in an administrative role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
