Opportunity Overview:

The Senior Administrative Coordinator role is pivotal in executing clerical and administrative functions to enhance the operations of the Alberta Health Services. Your primary responsibilities will encompass managing appointment schedules, responding to inquiries via phone, facilitating patient registrations, processing referrals, and ensuring accurate data entry in the electronic medical records (EMR) system. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and correspondence, alongside supporting various general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operational workflows.

Role Summary:

As a Senior Administrative Coordinator, you will leverage advanced administrative skills and specialized knowledge to assist in complex procedures, practices, and initiatives within the department.

Essential Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.

Additional Qualifications:

As required by the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a Medical Office Assistant course is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous. Experience with Connect Care and prior experience in an Administrative Support role will be considered beneficial.
