Role Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team plays a crucial role in guiding decision-making processes at Lyft. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Rideshare division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within FP&A and various business units to create and oversee forecasts and financial analytics.
  • Enhance financial visibility and provide insights into business performance.
  • Define essential metrics and generate precise reports and data analyses to fulfill contractual and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate with internal systems and financial analytics teams to improve the forecasting of estimated actuals.
  • Deliver expert financial analysis and support for ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in finance concerning gross bookings, driver earnings, and marketplace dynamics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Proven ability to construct complex financial models, along with strong quantitative analysis and forecasting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with SQL and ERP systems, such as Oracle Essbase or Anaplan, is advantageous.
