Job Summary:

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in a controllership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, with experience in managing full budget and forecast cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver planning submissions, including annual budget, long-range capital and operating forecast, and current year financial forecasts.
  • Manage the administration, support, and continuous improvement of all financial reporting and planning systems, tools, and models.
  • Review monthly financial results and provide timely and effective information to support Command and Senior Leadership decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage operational unit spending to ensure compliance with current financial policies and directives.
  • Develop training programs and materials to support Senior Leadership, the Finance team, and all members of the Service with respect to finance functions.
  • Lead continuous process improvements for the Finance Unit.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a University degree in a business or related discipline.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience related to financial planning, reporting, and financial analysis.

Work Environment:

Monday to Friday / Day Shift (may occasionally require flexibility in hours or overtime).
