Senior Financial Analyst - Capital Business Support

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Capital Business Support team within the Finance Department. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and management services to our designated Business Partners.

Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key advisor, facilitating the development of financial strategies that align with multi-year business objectives. You will lead the annual capital budgeting process, conducting thorough analyses and offering recommendations on the 10-year Capital Plan and 15-year Capital Investment Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present financial updates to internal committees, offering insights into project performance, financial health, and risk management.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring adherence to corporate governance and fiscal accountability.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making on policies and priorities specific to Business Partners.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, ensuring compliance with relevant human rights and accessibility legislation.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with substantial relevant experience.
  • A professional accounting designation or related advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis for complex organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control principles and financial research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in financial software, particularly SAP, and advanced skills in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior management.
