About the Role

Vention is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of Vention's products and services, and effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
  • Qualification and Conversion: Qualify leads and convert them into paying customers through effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) setting, preferably in a technical sales role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or engineering.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to effectively communicate the value of Vention's products and services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
