Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our product team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in defining requirements and creating software specifications that align with our innovative product strategy, ensuring we deliver top-notch software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of requirements for both new and existing functionalities.
  • Document business workflows and system specifications comprehensively.
  • Design and articulate solutions while drafting software specifications for new features and enhancements.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in current offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to assess, negotiate, and outline the scope of work.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to establish acceptance criteria and facilitate user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis within the software sector, preferably in CRM or SaaS environments.
  • A relevant post-secondary degree.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and financial systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience working in an agile development setting.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Understanding of membership and subscription management processes.
  • Experience with financial functionalities, including orders, invoices, and payment workflows.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and integration with accounting systems.
  • Experience with SaaS applications is a plus.
  • IIBA Certification is beneficial.
