About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at BHC Canada Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing information systems business solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify their business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Design and develop information systems business solutions using various technologies, including COBOL, Java, SQL, and Groovy.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure high-quality products.
  • Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Apply quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address those areas.
  • Code information collected and enter data into databases to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or information systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in business systems analysis and development.
  • Strong knowledge of business systems analysis and development methodologies, including COBOL, Java, SQL, and Groovy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
