Key Responsibilities
  • Administer employee consultation and grievance processes.
  • Coordinate HR department activities to align with organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and enhance daily operational procedures.
  • Plan and organize HR operations effectively.
  • Review HR initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and development for staff.
  • Establish and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Manage contracts and oversee training and development programs.
  • Analyze employee data and oversee communication strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for management.
  • Advise senior leadership on HR matters.
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with management, union representatives, and HR consultants.
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct recruitment and selection processes.
  • Facilitate performance reviews and evaluations.
  • Manage human resource planning and development.
  • Negotiate resolutions for disputes and manage termination processes.
  • Resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is preferred.
  • First Aid Certification is an asset.

Proficiency in various software including:

  • Human resources software
Work Experience

Experience in a managerial role with a focus on employee engagement is essential.
