Operations Coordinator Job Description

ComForCare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule for all clients and caregivers, tracking and managing vacation requests, call-offs, and client requests, and ensuring the database is up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a consistent schedule for clients, including handling emergency call-offs, filling open shifts, and accommodating client and caregiver requests.
  • Brief caregivers on cases and provide them with new client information.
  • Answer phones with a friendly attitude, check email and phone messages regularly, and manage intake calls using Intake software.
  • Manage overtime limits and perform quality assurance calls to clients, caregivers, and family members.
  • Schedule and perform supervisory visits, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Compliance with ComForCare bonding criteria.
  • Eighteen years of age or older, with Canadian citizenship and/or equivalent employment eligibility authorization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, caregivers, and office team members.
  • High school diploma - Associate or Bachelor's degree recommended.
  • Experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to scheduling, customer service, and computer operation is an asset.
