Operations Coordinator Job Description

ComForCare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule for all clients and caregivers, tracking and managing vacation requests, and ensuring the database is up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a consistent schedule for clients, including handling emergency call-offs and filling open shifts.
  • Brief caregivers on cases and answer phones with a friendly attitude.
  • Manage intake calls, including taking incoming calls, mailing or emailing additional information, and utilizing Intake software.
  • Perform follow-up calls and set up sofa visits or nurse assessments as needed.
  • Manage overtime limits and on-call duties.
  • Maintain the company's online operations management system, including entering notes and updates on clients and caregivers.
  • Recruit and interview caregivers, administer tests, and schedule orientations.
  • Administer weekly orientations, including showing videos, reviewing the employee handbook, and answering questions.
  • Perform quality assurance calls to clients, caregivers, and family members.
  • Schedule and perform supervisory visits.

Initial training will be provided, and this is a temporary part-time position (0.5 FTE) with a possibility of further extension. Compensation is $ per hour.
