Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at ComForCare. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the schedule for all clients and caregivers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a consistent schedule for clients, handling emergency call-offs, filling open shifts, and accommodating client and caregiver requests.
  • Brief caregivers on cases, ensuring they have the necessary information to provide exceptional care.
  • Manage intake calls, utilizing our Intake software to track and follow up with clients and caregivers.
  • Monitor and manage overtime limits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Perform on-call duties as assigned, providing support and assistance to clients and caregivers as needed.
  • Manage our online operations management system, maintaining schedules, entering notes, and updating client and caregiver information.
  • Recruit and onboard new caregivers, conducting interviews, administering tests, and scheduling orientations.
  • Administer weekly orientations, ensuring new caregivers understand company policies and procedures.
  • Perform quality assurance calls to clients, caregivers, and family members, ensuring exceptional care and service.
  • Schedule and perform supervisory visits, providing feedback and coaching to caregivers as needed.
Requirements
  • Compliance with ComForCare bonding criteria.
  • Eighteen years of age or older, with Canadian citizenship and/or equivalent employment eligibility authorization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, caregivers, and office team members.
  • High school diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree recommended.
  • Experience in administrative capacities, with experience relevant to scheduling, customer service, and computer operation an asset.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
