Logistics Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Dynamic Freight Haulers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and process customer orders and instructions
- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve operational goals
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation and inventory management
- Track and complete work orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion
- Coordinate activities with other departments and teams to ensure seamless operations
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Arrange for maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with the maintenance of company communications equipment
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work hours and performance
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet operational demands
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
- Offer awareness training to employees to promote a welcoming work environment for youth
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
