Opportunity: Employed Student Nurse at Sechelt Hospital
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Employed Student Nurse to join our team at Sechelt Hospital in the beautiful coastal community of Sechelt, BC. This position offers up to 400 hours of hands-on nursing experience, providing you with invaluable practical skills and knowledge.

Sechelt Hospital is an acute care facility serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including emergency care, mental health services, and surgical procedures.
Your Role as an Employed Student Nurse
- Contribute to patient care under the supervision of experienced registered nurses.
- Develop your clinical skills through hands-on experience in various nursing units.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least the second year of your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program or equivalent.
- Successful completion of at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the British Columbia Nurses Association (BCCNM).
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
