Position Title: Employed Student Nurse at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)
Overview: Vancouver Coastal Health is on the lookout for a committed Employed Student Nurse to be part of the healthcare team at Sechelt Hospital. This role provides an opportunity to gain up to 400 hours of practical nursing experience, accompanied by a competitive remuneration package.
About Sechelt Hospital: Sechelt Hospital functions as an acute care institution catering to over 30,000 individuals in the Lower Sunshine Coast region. The facility offers a variety of services, including emergency medical care, mental health support, and surgical interventions.
Requirements:
- Completion of the second year in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program or its equivalent
- Experience in at least one Adult Medical or Surgical rotation
- Registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
