Position Overview:
The University of Toronto Mississauga seeks a dedicated professional to enhance its international recruitment initiatives. This role is pivotal in promoting the university's offerings to prospective students worldwide.

As the second largest division of the University of Toronto, U of T Mississauga comprises 17 academic departments and provides a diverse range of 156 programs across 92 fields of study. The campus serves around 15,000 students and employs over 1,000 faculty and staff, featuring specialized institutes such as the Mississauga Academy of Medicine and the Centre for Medicinal Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive data analysis to shape effective recruitment strategies.
  • Building and nurturing a network of external relationships to bolster recruitment efforts.
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of program strengths relative to competing institutions.
  • Delivering engaging presentations to attract prospective students.
  • Providing detailed guidance on admission requirements to interested candidates.
  • Advising students, parents, and counselors on the admissions process and criteria.
  • Clarifying admissions decisions to applicants.
  • Responding promptly to inquiries and service requests.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a university or higher education setting.
  • Proven experience in student recruitment, admissions, or student services.
  • Experience in presenting to diverse audiences and organizing events.
  • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with high school curricula and university admission standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, webinar platforms, and CRM software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis and report generation.
  • Fluency in an additional language.
