The Office of the Registrar at UTM is dedicated to providing registrarial services that align with the academic goals of the university and support its strategic priorities in student information management, policy interpretation, and innovative registrarial interactions.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Recruitment, the International Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing our international recruitment initiatives. This position collaborates closely with team members to devise and implement strategies aimed at fulfilling UTM's recruitment and enrollment targets.

The Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and representing UTM at various recruitment events and programs, both in-person and virtually.

As a vital team member, the Coordinator contributes to the development and execution of recruitment and yield strategies, with a specific emphasis on engaging international audiences.

This role involves advising prospective students and their families regarding admissions processes and serving as a primary contact for high schools in Canada and abroad that have significant populations of international students. Building relationships and implementing initiatives to facilitate pathways to admission at UTM is essential.

The Coordinator fosters positive relationships across academic and non-academic divisions, departments, and student groups at UTM and the broader University of Toronto community, ensuring that internal stakeholders are well-informed about recruitment activities and have opportunities to engage in the recruitment process.

Additionally, the Coordinator is tasked with promoting and marketing the Academic Culture and English (ACEUTM) Program, collaborating closely with the Manager of the Academic Culture and English Program.

Extensive travel may be required during certain periods of the year, necessitating a valid driver's license in good standing.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed data analysis to inform recruitment strategies
- Maintaining a network of external contacts to support recruitment efforts
- Delivering engaging student recruitment presentations

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience in post-secondary student recruitment, admissions, and/or student services
- Proven ability to present to diverse groups and coordinate group events and programs
- Knowledge of various high school curricula, English language proficiency requirements, and U of T admission criteria
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, webinar tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

Assets (Nonessential):
- Experience with data analysis and report generation
- Fluency in a second language
