Principal Software Engineer/Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our development team as a Principal Software Engineer/Scrum Master. This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge medical device software project, leveraging your expertise in agile methodologies and software development.
Key Responsibilities- Scrum Master: Organize and facilitate all scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Software Development: Architect, design, develop, and release innovative high-performance medical device software.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to the team in software architecture and best-in-class software development methodologies and practices.
- Problem-Solving: Solve difficult problems and strive to make things better and achieve engineering excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with other teams, including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory, to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.
- Certified Scrum Master: Previous experience in a scrum master role.
- Strong CS Background: A strong computer science background, preferably BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Mission-Critical Products: Experience with having delivered successful mission-critical products.
- Expertise in C++ and Linux: Expertise in C++, Linux, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Strong Experience in Systems Development: Strong experience in systems development.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong in solving complex problems and demonstrated ability to adapt, proactive, and a positive influence on the team.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to the target audience.
- Commitment to Patient Safety and Product Quality: In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
- Experience in Architecting and Implementing Medical Device Software: Strong experience with architecting, designing, and implementing medical device software.
- Experience in Writing Software for Embedded Systems: Experience writing software for embedded systems that interface with sensors.
- Experience in Network Protocols and Cybersecurity: Strong experience with the development of network protocols (TCP/IP, OpenSSL) and cybersecurity.
