About the Role:

Boston Scientific Gruppe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and release of innovative high-performance medical device software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of software solutions for medical devices, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team in software architecture and best-in-class software development methodologies and practices.
  • Solve difficult problems and strive to make things better and achieve engineering excellence.
  • Partner with other teams to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.

Requirements:

  • Certified Scrum Master with previous experience in a scrum master role.
  • A strong CS background, preferably BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in C++, Linux, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong experience with architecting, designing, and implementing medical device software.
  • Experience writing software for embedded systems that interface with sensors.
  • Strong experience with the development of network protocols (TCP/IP, OpenSSL) and cybersecurity.
