Software Test Engineer III - Electrophysiology

At Boston Scientific, we're seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer III to join our Electrophysiology team. As a key member of our product quality team, you'll work closely with developers in an Agile environment to design, develop, and execute test cases for our RHYTHMIA HDx Mapping System.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality and verifying business and user requirements.
  2. Manual execution of tests or execute automated test scripts.
  3. Ensure that tests have been conducted in accordance with written procedures.
  4. Document test results and write test reports.
  5. Assist in determining test methodology, test strategy, and test data setup.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years of software test engineer or related experience or 3+ years with a master's degree or advanced degree, preferably BS/MS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong product quality and testing experience preferably in the medical device domain.
  2. Working knowledge of test automation under Linux/Unix environment.
  3. Some programming experience is desirable, such as Python, C, or C++.
  4. A good learner who can master complex software and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
  5. Experience working in Agile Scrum development environment.
