As an integral member of the Inpatient Surgery Program's interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) is tasked with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RN will execute various nursing responsibilities in accordance with hospital policies and nursing care standards. This part-time role entails 12-hour shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • A Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is mandatory
  • Proven knowledge and recent experience in managing post-operative patients, including epidural monitoring, is essential
  • Certification and proficiency in IV therapy, including BDC medication administration, are required
  • Certification in the care and management of Central Venous Access Devices, including blood sampling, is advantageous
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education and a team-oriented patient care environment
  • Proficiency in keyboarding and familiarity with Meditech are beneficial
