Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at The Steeves & Rozema Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualifications and Certifications: A General Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and proof of medication administration education/competency.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Clinical Assessment and Care Planning: Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Leadership ability, with a strong team orientation and excellent organization skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
  • Long Term Care Experience: Long Term Care experience is an asset, as is other related certifications.
Requirements
  • A General Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Proof of medication administration education/competency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Long Term Care experience is an asset.
