About Kumare Kafe and Bakery Inc.

We are a reputable restaurant and bakery company seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Determine the size of food portions and costs, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Cook Trade Certification, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant, urban area.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
