Position Overview

We are currently in search of a full-time Pastry Chef to become part of our team at Tim Hortons located on the Carleton University campus. Our Tim Hortons Pastry Chefs are responsible for food preparation, baking, portioning meals, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, bake, and assemble food items for breakfast and lunch services
  • Utilize and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Decorate and glaze pastries and other baked goods
  • Restock shelves and refrigerators while adhering to FIFO practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
  • Assist in completing food safety documentation and measures
  • Help maintain production logs and monitor inventory levels
  • Assemble cooked items, such as sandwiches and bagels, as required
  • Provide food service while ensuring excellent customer interaction
  • Adhere to all Aramark Policies and Procedures
  • Comply with all Franchise standards
  • Perform additional duties as necessary
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in food service is essential
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health standards
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Capable of following instructions and working independently

The selected candidate will be required to undergo and successfully complete a Criminal Background Check.
