Key Responsibilities- Oversee food production for the operation, ensuring high-quality food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Provide culinary leadership and training to team members, developing and motivating them to achieve their full potential.
- Manage culinary staff, maintaining accountability and fostering an engaging culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Develop and plan menus that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's culinary vision.
- Oversee inventory control and labor schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Multiple years of experience in the culinary field, with a strong background in pastry arts.
- Professional culinary training, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Red Seal Certification is an asset, but not required.
- Passion for food and hospitality, with excellent people management skills and the ability to train and supervise team members.
- Working knowledge and training on all health and safety standards and sanitation standards, including Food Safe and GHS.
