Job Summary
Leon's Furniture is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, including imaging and provisioning.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to technical issues and improve overall desktop service levels.
- Collaborate with the IT Support Services team to identify improvement opportunities and implement processes that enhance Help Desk operations.
- Be available for after-hours/weekend on-call support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional IT experience in desktop support, with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience with device imaging and provisioning, including Microsoft SCCM and MDT.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification.
- Experience with BMC FootPrint IT service management and Cisco Finesse Call Centre product.
