At PeopleToGo, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to provide top-notch technical support and services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktops and laptops. You will also be involved in PC imaging, deployment, and maintenance tasks. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional client service and ensuring seamless technical support experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops and laptops
  • Conduct PC imaging and deployment tasks
  • Maintain and upgrade existing systems as needed
  • Provide exceptional client service and support
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic networking concepts
  • Knowledge of WiFi technology and VPN
  • Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Understanding of imaging technologies (RIS, Image X, WDS)

Preferred Qualifications

We welcome candidates with experience in Lotus Notes and Blackberry. A minimum of one year of experience in PC support and/or deskside support is also preferred.
