Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Execute full-cycle A/P
- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
- Foundational knowledge in Coding Invoices
- Bank reconciliations experience preferred
- Deep understanding of Accrued Expenses
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
