Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk

Maur Logistics Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Prepare and process general ledger entries, journal entries, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of invoices.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure accurate financial information.
- Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes.
- Invoice Management: Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- General Office Duties: Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, financial operations, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, accurate, client-focused, and reliable.
- Language: English.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks.
- Support: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Assistance: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Integration: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Program: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
