OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Regal Rexnord, a prominent entity in the design and manufacturing of Power Generation Controls and Switchgear, is seeking a dedicated professional to provide technical assistance for Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency of power generation systems globally. The selected candidate will be based in Langley, BC, and will engage with customers via phone to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while collaborating with the ATS Engineering team and assisting Customer Care Coordinators with technical quotations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding technical phone support for diagnosing and resolving customer inquiries related to Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
  • Manage incoming Service Request tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution to enhance case management.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service requests within the case management system.
  • Provide prompt and thorough follow-ups to customer inquiries, including urgent support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customers and the ATS Engineering team to ensure rapid response and effective case resolution.
  • Offer precise and timely feedback regarding customer and quality issues to Engineering, Production, Service, and Leadership teams.
  • Assist Customer Care Coordinators with technical quotations for replacement parts and modification kits.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in after-hours technical phone support on a rotational basis.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical panels or relevant field experience in the Power management sector.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical bachelor's degree (Electrical Engineering) or Diploma of Technology (Electrical) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in testing and troubleshooting Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • 1-3 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Canadian French or Spanish is a plus.
