OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Regal Rexnord, a prominent entity in the design and production of Power Generation Controls and Switchgear, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role is essential in delivering technical assistance for Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will engage with customers via phone, ensuring their technical inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding technical support for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
  • Manage incoming Service Request tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and effective case management.
  • Maintain clear and detailed records of service requests within the case management system.
  • Provide timely follow-ups on customer inquiries, including urgent support needs.
  • Collaborate with the ATS Engineering team to facilitate quick responses and effective solutions.
  • Offer constructive feedback to Engineering, Production, Service, and Leadership to enhance product quality.
  • Assist Customer Care Coordinators with technical quotations for replacement parts and modifications.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in after-hours technical support on a rotational basis.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical panels or relevant field experience in power management.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivated.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • Customer-facing experience in a technical role.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in Canadian French or Spanish is an asset.
