Salary: $68,000-$75,000 CAD

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

Regal Rexnord, a prominent name in the design and manufacturing of Power Generation Controls and Switchgear, is seeking a dedicated individual to provide technical assistance for Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive timely and effective support, enhancing their experience with our products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver outstanding technical support via phone, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving customer inquiries related to Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
  • Manage incoming Service Request tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and effective case management.
  • Maintain accurate records of service requests within the case management system.
  • Provide prompt follow-ups to customer inquiries, including urgent support as needed.
  • Collaborate with customers and the ATS Engineering team to facilitate quick responses and effective resolutions.
  • Relay detailed feedback to Engineering, Production, Service, and Leadership to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist Customer Care Coordinators with technical quotations for replacement parts and modification kits.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in after-hours technical support on a rotational basis.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical panels or field technician experience in the power management industry.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • 1-3 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Canadian French or Spanish is a plus.
