Grocery & Convenience Sector Leader

In this thrilling position, you will utilize your industry acumen, sales expertise, and strategic foresight to craft and implement a successful Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, attract new clients, and position Deliverect as a key player in the Grocery & Convenience sector.
A Typical Day
- Design and execute strategic plans for market entry into the grocery, convenience, and alcohol sectors across North America.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer needs, analyze competitors, and identify industry trends.
- Create customized GTM strategies, including lead generation approaches, ideal customer profiles, pricing structures, and sales channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with essential industry stakeholders, such as retailers, distributors, and technology partners.
- Identify and pursue potential partnerships to enhance reach and credibility.
- Actively seek new business opportunities within these emerging verticals.
- Generate qualified leads, arrange meetings with key decision-makers, and navigate the sales process to secure deals.
- Manage and expand a diverse client portfolio within these sectors.
- Collaborate with product teams to tailor Deliverect's solutions to meet the specific requirements of grocery and convenience businesses.
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success) to create engaging sales materials, onboarding programs, and support initiatives.
- Represent Deliverect at industry events and conferences relevant to the grocery and convenience sector.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.
- Utilize data analytics to identify sales trends, assess campaign effectiveness, and optimize the sales process for maximum return on investment.
- Continuously evaluate performance data and refine the GTM strategy to meet revenue objectives.
Your Expertise
- 5-8 years of proven success in B2B sales, with a strong history of surpassing sales targets in the software or technology sector.
- In-depth understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Grocery and Convenience businesses in North America.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies tailored to the Grocery & Convenience sectors.
- Proactive and resourceful approach to lead generation and prospecting.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in leveraging data analytics to enhance sales efforts.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with internal stakeholders across various departments.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced market environment.
- Familiarity with the restaurant technology landscape, including POS systems, online ordering platforms, and delivery services.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot), project management tools, and other sales enablement technologies.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills being essential. Proficiency in Spanish would be considered a significant advantage.
