The Regional Sales Leader for Grocery oversees the team of sales representatives in Ontario, focusing on the growth of the Dandurand Group portfolio within the Grocery and C&G sector. This role emphasizes the development of essential processes and strategies to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee daily and weekly route strategies for all sales personnel.
- Provide on-the-ground support through coaching and training for sales representatives.
- Establish and implement sales initiatives and targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Create and maintain sales tracking documentation.
- Identify and optimize sales goals by region.
- Conduct competitive analysis of brand performance and market trends through continuous research.
- Manage and oversee the travel and expense budget through detailed reporting.
- Foster relationships with regional accounts and independent retailers.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in team leadership, personnel management, or coaching roles.
- Experience and enthusiasm for negotiation and business development.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Completed training in the wine sector is considered an asset.
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) is advantageous.
