Position Overview.

Provide on-site technical and operational assistance in the design, development, installation, and upkeep of Siemens MV VFD systems. Conduct site surveys to create foundational or installation design plans. Facilitate customer training for the maintenance and adjustment of MV VFD systems. Prepare and submit technical reports detailing all job activities. Oversee the maintenance of tools and testing equipment. Develop and present scopes of work, job safety analyses, and Job Hazard assessments. Review task plans, drawings, and installation schematics, offering ongoing guidance throughout the task duration.

Candidate Profile.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. A degree/diploma/certificate in Electrical/Electronic Technology or a related engineering field is required. Experience with air and water-cooled VFDs is preferred; advanced degrees do not substitute for practical experience. Familiarity with medium voltage industrial electrical systems is advantageous. Knowledge of PLC principles and programming is beneficial. Experience in commissioning and maintaining MV/HV motors is a significant asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Ability to interpret technical documents, schematic design specifications, and update drawings as needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Capable of working at heights using scaffolding or man-lifts. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
