About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at 2770603 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assign sales staff to duties, teach interest or professional development courses, and exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise, to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied with their experience.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash, oversee payroll administration, and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, supervise office and volunteer staff, and ensure that the store is clean, safe, and secure.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
